Coming Soon: New Online Membership Tool
St. Matthew's is happy to announce an upcoming online tool called InFellowship, which allows church members and visitors to update their contact information, RSVP for events, and make donations or payments for events online. This is also a place to find an online directory of the Members of our church, and join ministry and volunteer groups.
InFellowship is scheduled to go live in late Spring 2011. All members, associates, and visitors will be welcome to create an online account and begin using these convenient features.
Membership at St. Matthew's Church
Our by-laws state that a member is a communicant (baptized and confirmed person) who regularly attends services and is a pledged or regular contributor to the parish. People who are involved in our ministry and choose not to contribute financially, and some who contribute financially but live too far away to attend regularly, are called "Associates." One purpose of the pledge cards is to clarify for us the status of those involved in our ministry. Students and others who have no income and, thus, cannot tithe, can still be listed as members if they inform the church office of their status.
