Chris Becher
High School Director
Chris was born and raised in Brea, California and currently resides in Fullerton with his wife Andrea and daughter Scarlett. He and his wife met at Biola University where he graduated with a BA in English Literature and minor in Biblical studies. For the past five years, Chris has been teaching high school English and creative writing. Since coming to St. Matthews, he's traveled with the church to Argentina and Haiti to help facilitate overseas mission work. He's also been helping with the high school group for the past three years.

Children’s Ministry
Christy came to St. Matthew’s in 2001 and was baptized at the Easter Vigil the next year. She has been serving the parish in Children’s Ministry since 2004. A natural extension of her love of children as Christy has provided a loving warm environment for children in her “in home” day care. “Working with the kids is very rewarding; they come up with the most amazing questions.” Christy was born in Whittier and moved to Fountain Valley when she was just three-years-old. She lived in the same house until she was married. For the past eighteen years her home has been Westminster. Along with her husband Jeff, of twenty-five years they have three adult children: Curtis, Leah and Danielle.
